Nordstrom has launched its fall 2026 designer campaign, titled “Friends of Friends,” photographed by Ethan James Green.
The campaign brings together a cast of artists and friends including Drake Carr, who created the art and illustrations; Marcs Bird, who did the set design, and Dara Allen, who handled the styling.
The campaign highlights both women’s and men’s looks from Bottega Veneta, Sacai, Balenciaga, Tom Ford, Khaite and Thom Browne, among other top designers. Nordstrom’s fall 2026 designer campaign launched on Nordstrom.com and on the retailer’s social channels, and is also being spotlighted in a print mailer. The mailer introduces a new vertical to Nordstrom, called The Edit, featuring a curation of wardrobing brands including Heirlome, Colleen Allen, Kallmeyer, High Sport and others, in a story styled by Becky Malinsky and shot by Tommy Ton.
“This season, we’re celebrating freedom of self-expression and leaning into discovery as we broaden our luxury offer across the country,” Yumi Shin, Nordstrom’s executive vice president of global brand partnerships, told WWD. “We’ve deepened our investment in luxury storytelling and expanded our event programming through Designer Showcase as well as creating ongoing touch points with customers throughout the season.

“We’re also continuing to evolve Space, our discovery platform, spotlighting new talents alongside established houses. This year’s additions include Lii, Colleen Allen and Matières Fécales,” added Shin, who noted that curated looks are resonating with customers, whether it’s layering, accessorizing or embracing a slimmer silhouette.
Other additions to Nordstrom’s designer lineup this season include Totême men’s, Brioni, Satisfy, SSStein, J.Mueser, Act N°1, & Daughter, and Pillings. In recent seasons, Nordstrom has been aggressively building up its luxury and designer business, in part capitalizing on the challenges at the Exemplar Luxury Group, formerly called Saks Global, which emerged from a six-month Chapter 11 bankruptcy last June. The strategy involves encouraging designers to provide exclusive capsules and store experiences.
“We’re seeing strong momentum across luxury as we broaden our designer expression, from curation to the experiences we build around it and we’re excited to keep innovating,” Shin said. “We’re excited to bring that spirit to life during New York Fashion Week with a celebratory event (Sept. 9) at Marcel, cohosted by Ethan James and Dara, as we draw our community together to toast the season.”
