Interior designer Kevin Klein and actress Sydney Sweeney were introduced after a photo shoot at the Hollywood Roosevelt’s Gable and Lombard Penthouse, which was designed with his take on cinema Golden Age glam. Not too long after, the two agreed to work together on the Santa Monica home for Syrn, Sydney Sweeney’s lingerie label.
“Sydney was an excellent creative partner as she is incredibly decisive and knows exactly what she wants,” he told WWD on Thursday.
Kevin Klein Design infused some of the same retro edge into the Syrn studio. The space is full of European-inspired, hospitality-style interiors and was envisaged to host functions like fashion presentations, photoshoots, creative development, meetings and content production.

A suggestive, cinematic atmosphere was created with a mix of vintage and bespoke furnishings and lighting like the oxblood leather sofa anchoring the adaptable studio, Murano lighting, a Brutalist-inspired table and a Gaetano Sciolari chandelier. The result was a mix of “seductiveness and seriousness” — a sensual environment that reflects Syrn’s identity while supporting its growing creative team, Klein explained.

“We obviously wanted to capture the sense of sex appeal that a lingerie company would innately need to evoke, but we wanted it to feel a bit more restrained and poised at the same time,” Klein reflected, adding that the studio carefully selected Athena fabric by Nobilis for the lampshade, chosen for its understated elegance: a semi-transparent embroidered sheer with soft curves that perfectly captured the design sensibility.
The “Euphoria” star debuted Syrn at the start of 2026. The first collection, “Seductress,” was an assortment of garter belts, thigh straps, lace thongs and plunging bras, all of which sold out almost immediately.
