Vans is no stranger to the mule movement, with models like the Harbor Mule and Super Lowpro Mule carving out a spot for the skate brand in the backless sneaker space. As cold weather approaches, the VF Corporation owned-and-operated brand is reintroducing another one of its popular slip-on styles with the winter-ready Mountain Mule.
Available now from vans.com and select retailers is the Vans Mountain Mule in Blackout Black as well as an online exclusive Dark Brown look. A third colorway, a cowhide Brown/Black look in cow print, has already sold out from the brand’s e-commerce store.

The Vans Mountain Mule features a low-profile heel that allows the shoe to slide easily on and off. Vans shoes also commanded the biggest resale premium growth on the platform so far this year, up from +12 percent to +69 percent of their original retail pricing.
